Full description
1.An irregular enclosure, which may have been a settlement of possible Iron Age or Roman date, is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs to the south east of Upton, centred at TL 17885 78301. The ditched enclosure measures approximately 35 m by 50 m, but it is truncated by a modern field boundary. The enclosure is located to the north east of a large settlement and may have been associated with it. This feature was recorded from EH Reconnaissance aerial photographs of 2011.
