Full description
1. Cropmarks of part of a probable Iron Age or Roman settlement visible on aerial photographs as a complex of rectangular enclosures, the largest of which has two thin narrowly spaced double ditches. The enclosures are truncated by the field boundary to the north and may well continue into the adjacent fields to the north where Romano-British pottery indicative of a settlement has been found -see monument record: 363546. There are further enclosures visible as cropmarks to the west which have also been recorded separately.
