1.Cropmarks of an area of localised extracion or mining, possibly the visible remains of 19th century coprolite mining which is visible on aerial photographs on the south-eastern edge of Alconbury Weston at TL 1803 7661. The extraction appears as an area within the remains of levelled medieval ridge and furrow where numerous small strips of ground have been dug in tight rows and subsequently backfilled and returned to farmland.
