Full description
1. Cropmarks of a possible Iron Age or Roman settlement visible as a complex of conjoined rectilinear enclosures, some with sub-divisions and inner enclosures. These were seen centred at TL 1405 7686 on aerial photographs taken by English Heritage in July 2006.
2. Further elements of the Iron Age/Roman settlement, described by the above authority, can be seen in the adjacent field, at TL 1401 7705. Here, further conjoined rectilinear enclosures are visible.
