Full description
1-2. A large area of Iron Age and/or Roman settlement, defined by conjoined ditched enclosures, is recorded as cropmarks on EH Reconnaissance aerial photographs taken in July 2011. The enclosures are of varying irregular shapes and sizes ranging from about 25 metres to 50 metres across. They form a contiguous block over an area measuring about 300 metres by 200 metres centred at TL 1490 7611.
