Full description

A courtyard house identified and surveyed by the OS fieldworker (h1, h2). It is oval in plan and measures 20m by 17m overall, and from the OS plan appears to consist of a circular room and courtyard. The entrance seems to be on the north-east or south-east. A modern field wall overlies the east side of the house. This courtyard house was too overgrown with vegetation to be approachable in 1986 (h3). It is part of the courtyard house settlement at Mulfra Vean (16180).
