Full description
The house at the west side of Bosigran settlement was demolished in 1984. Measured plan and elevations drawn by Eric Berry in 1982 (h1, b6) showed the C17 features in the earliest northern part. These included a mullioned ground floor window, a typical local stone chimney and kneeler stones on the northern gable. The other ground floor window, of extremely simple design, may have been pre-C17, suggesting an even earlier origin (b6). In the mid-C19 a labourer's cottage was attached to the south end of the house. This was later reused as a farm building (b8).
