Treludderow became a place of importance c1500, under the Borlase family (b1, b2). In 1920, Henderson observed that a barn at Treludderow, said to have been a chapel, was more likely to have been part of the Borlases' mansion. He descibes this barn as being located at the back of the modern house, picturesque, thatched, built of granite blocks, with mullioned windows and a fine C16 doorway (b1, b2). The farmhouse at Treludderow was listed in 1960 (b2). It is described by the Listers as being "L" shaped, of C17 origin, the main block being rebuilt in the early C19 but the wing at the rear, now an outhouse, is original (b3). The 1963 map records "remains of" a mansion at Treludderow (b4). In 1970, the OS surveyor visited and noted that the farmhouse at Treludderow is not outstanding; and the rear wing or thatched barn has been extensively rebuilt. According to the farmer, the thatch was replaced with asbestos in about 1950 and that parts of the wall containing the C16 doorway have been rebuilt. A "cross" and a window were said to be "made up" from stone mullions and granite pieces found "lying around" and which were probably part of the old manor house (h1).
