Full description

North Boscaswell worked as part of Boscaswell Downs (42745) (b3). It is recorded on the OS map of 1908 (b2), and as Trease mine (162189) on Symons map of 1857 (b1) for which see detailed history. Noall in 1973 records remains of the dressing floors and calciner from the 1907 re-working (b5). Buildings and stack, shafts and dressing floors are visible on aerial photographs (p1&2) and were plotted for the NMP.
