Full description
One in a settlement of eleven hut circles, associated with a field system and boundary banks (1929), situated on a hilltop in open close-cropped moorland. This hut was first recorded by the OS in 1973 (h1) and in the 1980s it was surveyed from the air and on the ground by the RCHM (h2, h3, b1). According to the latter, the vague traces of this hut circle comprise a circular stony bank, about 10.2m in overall diameter and 1.1m wide by 0.3m high, enclosing a 0.3m deep depression (h3).
