Full description
One in a settlement of eleven hut circles, associated with a field system and boundary banks (1929), situated on a hilltop in open close-cropped moorland. This feature was located and surveyed on the ground in the 1980s by the RCHM (h1, b1), who found the remains of a hut circle which has been cut and overlaid by a roadside bank on its south side. Its level interior, which has been built up on the north side, is approximately 6.2m in diameter. The bank surrounding bank is 1.1m wide and 0.2m high (h1).
