Full description
A hilltop group of three barrows in an exact east-west alignment; all are scheduled monuments (2230.1,2,3). The largest and most eastern of the group is Tichbarrow itself (2230.1), which produced a large collection of holed and cup-marked stones and pottery during investigations by Trudgian prior to road works in 1972.
Two mounds, now destroyed, in a field to the south (103914), previously linked with this group, are considered to be quarry spoil heaps rather than barrows.
