Full description

Curvilinear enclosure in the north of Mill Farm settlement (33244), not shown on the 1842 Tithe map (b4) but extant by the 1876 OS map (b5). Planned at 1:500 by CCRA/NT in 1982 (h1, b6-b8) and visited by Herring in 1876 (h2, b9). Drystone walling. Location, away from dwellings, suggests it is not a garden but a mowhay or rickyard (b9).
