Full description
The Bude Canal terminates two miles north of Launceston, at Druxton Wharf, Crossgate. The site of the large basin, through now grassed over, is well defined, and there are several canal buildings still in existence - the former wharfinger's cottage, stables, and warehouse (b1). The site was recommended for Listing by North Cornwall District Council in 1994, but the application was rejected due to the poor condition of the warehouse (see info file).
