Extant remains of an overgrown barrow lying on the west facing slopes of Chapel Carn Brea. Surveyed by the OS in 1960 (h1) and sketch surveyed by Gerrard for CAU in 1985 (h2, b2, b3). Field visit by OS in 1985 (h3). A small barrow of earth and stone construction of some 8.0m diameter and 0.8m high (h1, h2). Large orthostats around the perimeter form the partial traces of a double-faced kerbed wall (h1). In centre of barrow lies a large displaced capstone of a cist which has been disturbed at some unknown date (h1). Quinnell adds that capstone is orientated NNW-SSE (h3). Part of barrow group 16073.
