Immediately east of long cairn 16087 is a low round mound of cairn material 0.3m high and approx 5.0m diameter. In the middle is an oval pit 2.0m by 1.0m wide and 0.5m deep (h1). The mound has the appearance of a small round barrow with an antiquarian robbing pit in the centre. Alternatively this may be material that has been removed from the long cairn at some time.
