Full description
This quarry shows a succession of cuttings and an overlapping pattern of dumps, working from NW to SE. The deepest section is a working face in the SE part, which was accessed by a hollow-way. Full details are given in the Kit Hill survey report (b2). It is visible on air photographs (p1) and was plotted as part of the NMP.
