Full description
Norden depicts a small sloping roofed structure with chimney at the high end set behind a platform. This may have been a C16 shot furnace. Possible footings of a building were found here by the Cornwall Archaeological Unit in 1997. It has also been suggested that the building was an expense magazine for the Long Platform (1).
