In the NE corner of Nanstallon Roman fort, a latrine pit with traces of an associated structure were found. The pit measured 1.8m by 1.22m and was filled with silt, which contained an iron studded belt, a Samian bowl and various pieces of bronze harness. Above the pit were traces of a lean-to structure 2.44 to 3.06m square, probably open fronted on one side (h1, b1).
