Full description
Henderson records a stone 1.5m in breadth lying 2.4m to the south of the chamber of Chun Quoit (30518) and within the remains of the barrow. It is set on edge with a smaller stone lying prostrate up to 1.0m away and may be the remains of a second cist (b9). The OS in 1961 record that a stone 1.0m long and 0.7m high on the south side of the barrow is that referred to by Henderson as being part of a cist. This could not be confirmed, but the orientation of the stone, north-south towards the chamber, indicated that it is not part of the retaining circle. The prostrate smaller stone could not be found (h1).
