Full description
WC Borlase describes the possible remains of a cist in a barrow (30689) at Boskednan which is mentioned by W Borlase in 1740 (b3). It measured 1.0m wide by 1.8m long, neatly walled on the two sides and west end, the east end being broken up. Across the top of it lay a flat stone 1.0m wide and 2.4m long. There was also formerly another covering stone, which both together, secured the cavity and its contents (b1). The OS in 1975 record a flat stone 1.5m by 0.6m which may be the capstone of the cist (h1).
