Full description
Three rectangular buildings are recorded to the north and north west of the two corn/grist mills at Bosigran on the 1834 Borlase map (b2) and two are recorded on the 1842 Tithe Map (b3), that to the west of the south west mill had by then disappeared. Traces of ruined buildings survive in the area to the north of the main stamping site of 1861 (33247) and some of these are probably the remains of some or all of these ancillary structures. They were planned at 1:200 by the National Trust and the CCRA in 1982 (h1, b5-7). A total of five rectangular structures can be made out with walls to 1.2m high. All are damaged with no building having all four walls extant (b8). Some were reused as tanks in the stamping site - see 1876 1st Edition 1:2500 OS map.
