Full description

A roughly triangular platform cut in to the slope to the west of the main dressing floor of Porthmoina Mill was planned at 1:200 by the National Trust in 1984 (h3, b8 - 11). The revetement to the east is up to 2.2m high and contains stones with tare and feather marks indicating a post-1800 date. The platform is circa 14m by 13m and contains no clearly defined buddles or tanks although the ground is uneven with several shallow depressions. A small structure (30793.6) is built into the north west corner of the platform (b11).
