Full description

A track running down the north (Bosigran) side of Porthmiona valley towards Porthmoina Mill and is recorded on the Tithe map of 1842 (b1) and subsequent on OS maps (b2). It was planned in 1984 at 1:1000 by the National Trust (h1, b3 - 5). The south end of the track was damaged by the removal of spoil heaps by Geevor in the late 1970s (b5). Elsewhere it is roughly levelled circa 2.0m wide with traces of cobbling or simple metalling in places. It is re-used over most of its length as a footpath.
