Summary

Scattered through the main radial field system and one more particularly through the west and central of the three irregular field systems are numerous small stone clearance heaps, mostly built on natural boulders.

Full description

Scattered through the main radial field system (33201) and one more particularly through the west and central of the three irregular field systems attached to it (33201.1 and 33201.2) are numerous small stone clearance heaps, mostly built on natural boulders. Planned at 1:1250 by the CCRA and the National Trust in 1982 (h2, b6-8) and visited by Herring in 1986 (h3, b9). Heaps rarely exceed 2m in diameter and 0.4m high (b9).
