Full description

The western most building on Mill Farm settlement (33244). Planned at 1:500 by the CCRA/NT in 1982 (h1, b6-b8) and visited by Herring in 1986 (h2, b9). A small outhouse in the lane (33244.11). Not shown on the 1834 map (b3) but extant by 1842 (b4), giving a fairly precise date of the late 1830s. Still roofed in 1876 (b9). Internally 5.9m (EW) by 2.6m with a blocked entrance in the long wall. Dry stone walling mixed with mortar bounded masonry. No gable survives and it may have had a single pitched roof. Presumably a farm building (b9).
