Full description

A poorly preserved farm building in the centre at Mill Farm (33244) is not recorded on the 1834 map (b3) but is recorded by 1842 (b4), giving fairly precise date (b9). Mapped at 1:500 by CCRA/NT in 1982 (h1, b6) and visited by Herring in 1986 (h2, b9). North room, apparently superimposed on the south room, is 3.5m (N-S) by 2.6m internally with entrance at south wall. Masonry walls to 0.9m high. The south is apparently abandoned when the north was built and has two low banks, 0.4m high, for walls (b9).
