Full description

A Post Medieval reservoir pond for the stamping mill at Bosigran is shown on the 1st Edition OS 25" map c1880. It measures approximately 25m by 16m internally, and is slightly trapezoidal in plan. Its east and west sides are defined by walls up to 0.7m high; that to the east has a narrow opening, possibly a sluice gate, roughly centrally placed.
