Full description
An overgrown freestanding stone and earth cairn within an unimproved enclosure at Boscawen-un. On fairly flat farming plain. Sketch survey by Sharpe for CAU in 1985 (h1, b1, b2). A possible cairn, consisting of a structure of stone and earth of some 8.0m in diameter and standing up to 1.0m high. No further details. Possibly a distant relation of barrow group 16031, which lies some 400m to the SSE.
