Full description
A possible cist cairn, part of a group (1970), situated on an undulating ridge of open, boulder covered moorland. During the 1980s this feature was surveyed from the air and on the ground by the RCHM. According to the latter, it is a stony mound, 6.6m in diameter and approximately 0.4m high, which has been gutted. Two centrally placed upright stones have been exposed; they are set parallel and 1.7m apart. One is 1.6m by 1.1m by 0.5m thick and the second, a partially buried boulder, is 1.8m long by 0.3m high. It is posssible that these stones represent the remains of a cist or small chamber (h2).
