Full description
A cairn first recorded in the Tithe Award of 1840, as a boundary marker (b1), and recorded by Thomas in 1852 as a 'low barrow formed of large stones' (b2). 'Rediscovered' by the OS in 1973 (h1) and subsequently marked on 1984 OS map (b3). Surveyed by the RCHM in 1984 (h3, h4, b4). Described as a bowl barrow 13m across and 0.6m high. The flat-topped mound has been mutilated and there are traces of kerb stones (h1). No change by 1984 (h4).
