Full description
The remains of a linear feature approx 50m in length is visible on aerial photographs (p1) taken in 1946 and was plotted as part of the NMP. The exact function of the feature is unknown but is likely to be related to the surrounding documented WW2 military buildings. It extends out into the water and may have been used as an embarkation hard during D-Day operations.
