Full description
Marhamchurch incline was the first inclined plane on the Bude Canal (b1). It had a rise of 120 ft and was 836 ft long, operated by a water wheel. The wheelpit has been partially infilled, and the course of the incline is now obscured by new housing and other encroachment.
