Full description

A bridge carrying the line of the Cornwall Railway over a farm access at 298m 2c. The bridge is of rubble masonry with an elliptical arch. There are smooth-finished dressed voussoirs but no formal quoins. The ramped wing walls are straight-jointed to the arch. There is a stone string course above the arch and a later imported brick parapet which is much higher than the original. The bridge has many patch repairs, and the soffit pointing is loose. (JRS)
