Full description
A bridge carrying the line of the Cornwall Railway over the public road at 311m 32c. The bridge is of squared granite masonry, and has a round arch with smooth-finished cut granite voussoirs. The abutment quoins and wing walls are rock-faced. There is a low coped stone parapet with terminal piers, finished with granite capstones. The wing walls are straight-jointed to the arch. The bridge is built to single track width at approx 5m. A small bridge, but very finely finished, and may have been built as part of the approach to Marlborough House (JRS).
