Full description

A bridge carrying the line of the Cornwall Railway over the public road at 311m 64c. The bridge is of squared masonry, mostlty brought to course, with a segmental arch having smooth-finished cut stone voussoirs. There is an ashlar string course above the arch, and a stone coped parapet. Wing walls set-forward of the arch are straight-jointed to the abutments, and have terminal piers with granite capstones. There is a stone flight of steps up to the railway on the northern side, set-in behind the wing wall. The bridge is built to single-track width, at approx 5m (JRS).
