Full description
The site of a milestone located on the south side of an unclassified road to the NE of Badharlick and was removed in 2009/2010. It is roughly rectangular in plan approx 1.12m (44") high by 25cm (10") wide by 18cm (7") thick and inscribed "XI To Cam". This milestone is related to"'VIII To Cam" (MCO55425). (Ian Thompson Milestone Society, Pers comm.).
The milestone is recorded on modern OS mapping (Landranger 25,000 and MasterMap 2010) but not on the 1st or 2nd Edition 1:2500 OS maps c1880 and c1907. The milestone is probably pre-turnpike and was similar in style to a milestone west (MCO55434).
