Full description

In addition to the temporary hospitals at Boscawen, Truro and Polwhele when the workload became increasingly high and to alleviate this demand, a similar tented hospita,l was established during the last week of January 1944. It had 100 beds and was opened in just fourteen days.

It is suggested by a local resident that the location of this field hospital seems to be in the Parkengear area, to the SE of Probus.
