Full description
Possible location of C19 commemorative stone marking the location of a barrow discovered in 1839.
The inscription reads:
"This rock was left in commemoration of the bones, urns, and ashes of human beings found near it in 1839".
Due to the inscription recording the stone as having been 'left' it has been suggested that this stone may have been associated with the cremation burials, possibly a cist cover.
