Summary
Very little change is evident on curtain No. 2 between Norden's plan of 1600 and the detailed Ordnance Survey of 1866 - the curtain retaining a simple shoulder height parapet with firing step along its inside edge although the parapet is almost certainly that erected under Colonel Lilly in the 1730s.
