Summary
A paint and barrow store serving both Half Moon and One Gun Batteries was constructed in the 1890s between the chemise and the east face of the ravelin. It was virtually identical in design to one built serving St Anthony Battery in 1897 for which plans survive. The paint and barrow store continued to be used up until 1956 and was demolished after the site came into guardianship in 1958.

A paint and barrow store serving both Half Moon and One Gun Batteries was constructed in the 1890s between the chemise and the east face of the ravelin. It was virtually identical in design to one built serving St Anthony Battery in 1897 for which plans survive. The paint and barrow store continued to be used up until 1956 and was demolished after the site came into guardianship in 1958 (1).
