Summary
An English 13 in iron sea-service mortar converted for fortress use made in 1856 was displayed at Pendennis together with six shells on the site of the old Royal Artillery store between 1964 and the mid 1980s. The weapon had no particular relevance to Falmouth. It is now displayed as part of the collection of the Royal Armouries at Fort Nelson, Portsmouth.
