Summary
Two public shelters, shown on the 1907 Ordnance Survey at the foot of the woodland overlooking Falmouth Bay. Part of the pleasure grounds improvements carried out by a Headland Improvement Committee in 1865 when the branch of Castle Road which had served the old soldiers huts, became the right fork into the newly constructed Castle Drive.

Full description
Two public shelters, shown on the 1907 Ordnance Survey at the foot of the woodland overlooking Falmouth Bay. Part of the pleasure grounds improvements carried out by a Headland Improvement Committee in 1865 when the branch of Castle Road which had served the old soldiers huts, became the right fork into the newly constructed Castle Drive (1).
