Full description
A searchlight emplacement on this site replaced the high level searchlight emplacement to the NNW in 1904 for a 'concentrated sentry beam' at the Point. Orders were relayed to the sentry beam by speaking tube from No 1 searchlight emplacement The need for a sentry beam at Pendennis passed to St Anthony Battery after the latter had become the examination battery in 1905. All emplacements have subsequently been demolished leaving only footings (1).
