In 1941 an emplacement was constructed for four 2pdr Hotchkiss guns with an anti-motor torpedo boat role. Despite camoflaging three of these positions can be seen in aerial photographs taken in 1941.
Communication diagrams of the time indicate that the Fire Commander at Pendennis could communicate with one of the guns. No surface remains recorded (1).
