Full description
One of two very tall standing stones named The Pipers of Boleigh, the south-west menhir is the taller of the two stones and is also the tallest surviving menhir in Cornwall. It measures 4.7m high and 0.9m square at the base. There are two longitudal cracks down the north-west side and one down the south-east side (h1, p1). Russell in 1971 lists the extant remains of a menhir at Boleigh (b10).
