Full description

The smithy of Carn Galver mine (33236) survives as a ruin on the south side of the B3306 road. Visited in 1986 by Herring (h1, b16) and shown on the 19th century maps of the mine (b4, b7, b8, b9). The building survives as a low rectangular earthwork. Labelled 'smithy' on the 1876 OS map (b9).
