Full description
1> Gate (site).
2> Erected in the 14th century, demolished in the 18th century.
3> Depicted.
4> Cheylesmore Gate, or Park Gate, was an entrance to Cheylesmore Park from
Greyfriars lane by Cheylesmore Manor House, the latter enclosed by the City
Walls after 1385. Demolished before end of the 18th century.
5> Depicted as being rectangular, pierced by a central arch, with an embattled
top.
