Summary

Exminster parish church. Peamoor chapel. Ceilings with double-moulded ribs, of period two, dated 1633. Some of the features resemble those at the butterwalk, dartmouth. The moulds of winged cherub heads are identical. The classical motif made its appearance late in the period. Overmantel with biblical scenes, the nativity, baptism, crucifixion, and ascension.
