Church of st. Andrew. C12/early c13 font; chancel early c14, c15 aisles, porch and tower; considerable repair of window tracery. Continuous 30 year programme of restoration, beginning in 1863, 1860s restoration by henry woodyer, restoration of roof screen in the 1880s, executed hems, architects fulford and harvey. Red sandstone with beer stone dressings, the tower red sandstone and flint; slate roofs. See doe list for full details (doe 1988).

Embattled tower mainly of red stone. Perpendicular norman font. It is 15th or 16th century with saints' figures and heads now under tower. Rood loft screen mainly modern. Red octagonal piers of conglomerate in nave arcade, one monolithic, two others almost so. Modern lych gate and attractive circular steps (doe).
